It cant be solved for more than 1 atom...thats why the LCAO-Linear Combination of Atomic Orbitals to form molecular orbitals was formed...

For a single H atom.
Wave function of the electron would be a complex number. In rare cases a real number.
So according to MOT, the function for BO of a molecule would be the addition of those two complex numbers.
Here the atoms are identical and so the ABMO would have zero eave function.
Thus there is zero wave activity (zero probability of finding electron)
So Most of the diatomic molecules available are stable.
