for the reaction q value is -ve,(if m1 is the mass of projectile, m2 is the mass of the target nucleus) then wat is the threshold energy to initiate the reaction?

ans: -q(m1/m2 +1)

The fusion energy factor is the ratio of power produced to power required to maintain the plasma . How can a ratio be negative Please let me know the source of the question and it will be replied back .
