solve fast...............
None

the max speed of emitted electron in a photoelectric experiment is 2* 10^6 m/s. If a uniform magnetic field of 5* 10^-5 T is applied perpendicular to the plane of motion, the radius of the path followed by the electrons will b.............plz give detailed soln.............

circular
v = 2* 106m/s
B= 5*10-5 T
F= evB= (mv2)/r
(since centripetalforce=magnetic lorentz force..)

 subst. values and hence obtain ans...

see the centripetal force require for circular motion is provided by magnetic force
hence cpp =BeV
so Mv^2/r =bev

so r =mv/be
now e is 1.6 *10^-19
m =9.1 *10^-31

solving u will get the answer =0.225m

it's so easy

equate mv^2/r=evB

r=mv/eB
put the appropriate values
m=9.1*10^-31
etc

u get r=0.23m
