these r circuits that read n process certain codes only

these r based on boolean algebra

all operations within a compuetr r carried out by means of combination of signals

passin thru a standard bloc of built in circuits they r knw as logic gates

they operate on one or more input signals to produce standard output signals

they r

AND gate

OR gate

NOR gate

NAND gate

NOT gate

XOR gate

A logic gate performs a logical operation on one or more logic inputs and produces a single logic output. Because the output is also a logic-level value, an output of one logic gate can connect to the input of one or more other logic gates. The logic normally performed is Boolean logic and is most commonly found in digital cicuits.

AND OR and NOT are basic gates from which many more can b obtained..
