hi iam koushik if the ballon is with in the limit of gravitational force due to earth since volume is increased the density of the baloon decreases so the velocity of baloon increases there fore acceleration exists and also increases but you said it is in space there is no force acting on baloon and there is no velocity increases or decreases so the velocity remains constant and acceleration is zero
