2nd phase of counselling for engineering begins
The second phase of counselling for engineering courses has started from Monday. Following the first-phase counselling for engineering courses on June 25, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) board has announced the second phase.
In view of a record vacancy of more than 25,000 engineering seats in different private colleges in the State, the OJEE board held the second-phase counselling. The students can register their names online where they can choose their best colleges and trades according to their ranks. At first, the students have to make choice filling, which started from Monday and will continue till August 11, officials said.
“The students can register and make choice locking between August 6 and 11 and the students can verify their documents and make final choice locking in between August 9 and 11 by attending nodal centres,” said OJEE secretary Priyabrata Sahoo.
For document verification and to make final choice locking, five nodal centres are opened in and outside of the State. Seat allotment results details would come out following the document verification.
