About 70% pass 2011 Jharkhand secondary board exams

Around 69.31% students passed out in 2011 Jharkhand Secondary Examination Board results, announced Tuesday in Ranchi.Jharkhand human resource development (HRD) minister Baijnath Ram released the results at Jharkhand Academic Council on Tuesday.Anjali of Hazaribagh district topped the list by securing 91% marks.

A total of 3,54,802 students appeared in the examination in the state. Outshining girls, a total of 1,89,946 boys passed as compared to 1,64,680 girlsPalamau district topped in all 24 districts of the state, with 80.76% students passing in the examination.In 2010, 74.37 students had passed the intermediate examination of the state.
