Stepping into the shoes of his father, he joined Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. The success story did not end here for him
as he has received calls from the six IIMs of the country including IIM, Ahmedabad and has made proud not only his family but the entire city.

Attributing his success to his parents, A M Jain and Sindhu Jain, Abhinav while talking to TOI said, "For this achievement of mine I give sincere thanks to my parents who were always with me in the difficult times. When I was in the fourth year of my course in IIT-K, I decided to crack the CAT entrance exam and have finally succeeded in doing the same."
Though Abhinav has already got a job offer from a top notch IT firm but it was his ambition to achieve more that made him try his hands at CAT exam. The computer professional added that it very rarely happens that a CAT aspirant receives calls from the three top IIMs of the country and he is one such lucky person who got through the toughest management exam conducted in the country.
Speaking about his father, A M Jain, Abhinav said, "My father is an ex-IITian and my two close relatives are also graduates from IIT. I was selected in the first attempt."
"For cracking CAT I had to work exceptionally hard in English and like any other exam hard work is the key to success in CAT also,'' added Abhinav.
"The economic slowdown will not last for long and the situation will improve,'' concluded Abhinav when asked about the ongoing recession in the economy.
