Date of reporting at alloted NITs

None

I just checked the site http://www.ccb.nic.in/ccb2009/welcome.htm and found in the section PIs and their fee structure that the date of registration in case of NIT Trichy is 20th July, 2009 (tentative). And, when we check the branch allotted to us through the site, I saw that "You have to report at the allotted institute within 16th-24th July". If I get any branch in NIT Trichy, do I have to report at NIT Trichy by 20th July or will it be okay if I report on 23rd or 24th?
