extermely shocking ::The CBI on Thursday carried out raids on the top brass of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in Hyderabad, Bhopal, Chennai and Delhi, exposing the rot in the national regulator for technical institutes. While AICTE member secretary K Narayan Rao was arrested, an FIR was lodged against AICTE head Ram Avtar Yadav for corruption. HRD Minister Kapil Sibal is learnt to have approved the raids on Wednesday night — something considered unprecedented as CBI raids against officials above the rank of Joint Secretary require the Cabinet minister’s approval. ya .....its really extremely shockin..........it is regarded as da top governing body for technical education in india........n da corruption dere....has jst ruined everything........atleast dey shud care 4 da students of india.......jst approvin ny college which doesnt even fulfil all de requirements jst 4 sum money......is a damn job dey r doin.......dey must b punished vry strictly..........

it really hurts 2 hear such news...makes u feel kinda 'cheated'...who knows it myt turn out dat even d top IITs and NITs r corrupt...
