ok i undrstnd dat u ppl r frustated that a person gettin 115 is getiin in eml and a person securing 175 is also gettin EML........

but wat can we do................................

it is d decesion of IIT

so let us not sob over dis thing andabuse everyone........................................

me also same story was xpectin to get arnd 173...........but got EML..........an my frn who was xpectin to get arnd 120(max) also got EML........

so der is no point in sobbing or arguing abt dis .........................

if u r determined work hard dis year with max focus..........and aim 4 top 100 next year..............divert the frustation and convert dat 2 determination........................................

WHATEVER HAPPENS LIFE HAS TO GO ON..........................................

can anyone tell abt the cut off for iit jee???
Not now. After you people get your scorecards, that will be about 3-4 months from now.

i just wanted to aks about the scope of iist and iiser?????
Better ask IIST ans IISER guys.

as I am an EML qualified candidate then what chance do I have over others to get selected for the Integrated courses at IISERs.
Your iit jee marks. More your marks, greater your chance of selection.

How do they screen the candidates from the JEE stream -- is it purely based on their JEE score?

Does selection in the EML guarantee selection to the IISERs?

but my point is not how many ppl r der ............i want d range of marks .............an i m not lying(its d biggest sin dat cannot be avoided but still am not lying here i got 173 (i took intersection of all keys))......................................

wtf ,its just a list ,u can get admitted in research progrmmes if u got 190 0r 90 if u r i eml ,it means u didnt clear d cutoff and r u sure u got these marks ,its jus a speculation,u got the marks now wait 4 eml ranks and shut ur mouth until den

Everyyear the same problem arises, people think there is a wide range of marks in the EML list. But when the score cards come, it becomes clear that the range is actually not so wide as guessed earlier. People often mess up with their marks calculation.
