i gave bitsat today and scored 256...what can i expect?

i gave bitsat today and scored a friviolous 256...what can i expect? overall i found the level to be slightly higher compared to last year...chemistry was a little harder compared to aieee this year..hd lengthy jee-ish objective question (about 40% of them) mathts ws easier compard to aieee, somewhere of the level of aieee 2008 ... I am expecting about 210 in aieee-2009 and 160 -170 in jee...wt r my chances of getting anything in bits? duals or be in pilani/goa/hyd?

tuff luck, but u might get dual at hyd, if d exam was tuffer than last year

even if i go by the last years cutoff i can manage dual in goa and hyderabad... but what are the chances of their being a drop in the cutoff scores?

as u r saying dat paper was tuff so cut-off may dip...so keep ur fingers crossed....how wass eng n logical reasoinin g part?

i dont clearly remember my subject wise marks..over all i got 91 right and 17 wrong(darn!)...

phy was a cake walk...eng and logic were of the level of those in the mtg papers) I was scoring 320 in mtg ones...dont be fooled by them especially in chem and maths...they are way simpler....

do u mean mtg papers r simpler than d actual bits paper?// or bits ppr is simpler as compared to quesns in d buk???

for one thing, the cut-offs in BITS is not decided by the level of toughness.. Rather the students themselves decide the cut-offs,, as in if huge no. of ppl apply for eee,, cut-off for eee increases... the cut-offs are decided on the score, n no. of ppl opting the courses.. i.e. it depends on the preference order form...

hi i gave bitsat on 12th and i got 300.

1.this year most probably cut wont dip.

2.in bitsat they wont give subject wise marks.just no of correct ,wrong and ur score

Are u sure they dont give individual mks,... last year i guess they did, cuz my frnds told me their indiv mks.. or do they give indiv mks on their website after d exam is ovr?
