hmmm...CS is wat most ppl wanna take...perhaps coz of the larger salary packages n job availablity....it comes down to computers...if u luv computers, go fer it!! if ur not interested in it, go fer electrical n electronics...newayz u don't see a lot of girls takin CS....search wikipedia n u cn see difference between electrical n electronics

it is totally upto you that in which stream u r interested and what is career/future plan.and according to that choose ur stream.in my opinion Electrical will be good option for you.

@vijay...i ws intrstd only in mech...nw since i dnt hv dt optn left..m trin to make a choice in context of btr ftre prospects..

but she has only 3 options....and not interested more in CS.so ECE and Electrical are left.....and Electrical is much better nowadays than ECE.it is purely core branch and provide more career opportunity than ECE in Pvt/Govt sector......

both the branches are good.i am agree that mech are much better than both the branch....but for the career prospects and future electrical has more option than ECE.

CS is also good option ,but see u have very less option in PSU's and Govt jobs with this branch as compared to core branches like mech,electrical,ece,civil.with CS most of the options are in software/IT industry..i was also the student of CS.its my experience......

ok,if your aim is to go in corporate sector and you want to do MBA then my suggestion is CSE,dont think that i am confusing you,but according to my past experience,for ur CAT preparation in ur 3rd or 4th year of engineering CSE will be best branch,coz in this branch you will have less syllabus than other branch.so u need less time for ur semester study and can spare more time for ur CAT and other MBA exam's preparation..
