This is a tricky question. Annamalai is a prestigious and old university, but in recent past I have not heard of too many engg graduates from there, the university specialises more in correspondence I think. SRM is a private deemed university, but it has been making a name over the past few years. Don't really know. Why don't you try NIT-Bhopal Chem, it,s much better than any of these. Rate if useful.

Annalmalai had its prestige earlier, bt nt now... D admission procedure of annalmalai is pathetic... Al admissions r done on donation basis, at d present moment u can get CSE or MECH in 1 lac earlier it was 60 thousand... D college has lost its prestige in recent years by givin admissions 2 anyone, whether he has minimun 50% marks in PCM or nt, u can get admission dere.. In two years more den 5000 students from north hv taken admissions in dis college... I personally hve visited dis college, since d college is semi-government d faculty is useless.. My fnds r studyin dere, dey r suffering a lot...Annalamai can never be compared 2 private colleges lyk SRM,VIT etc... it doesnt rank among top 100 engg colleges... dats it...
