Fill in other choices also. Don't depend solely on Trichy. Reason - This year Tamil Nadu students haven't done well in AIEEE. compare your AIR & State rank and you'll understand my point. So most will be filling and going for NIT Trichy.I have an AIR of 23000+ and my HS in General is 340. Which means only 339 General students have done better than me. Compare this to Andhra where even a student getting in 16000+ is getting State rank in 1000's. Now 340 is a good enough rank but 23....is not. TN students will not get seats in NIT Warangal...because of bad ranks. I hope you understand. So fill in all possible choices. I've put in BIT Mesra too along with Surathkal, Calicut and ofcourse Warangal...also put in Jaipur and a few more. Hope this helps.

What juana said is very true, my rank is also a terrible 5874 but state rank is 141.

i have put in all the nit's.

i got an air of 18k and SR383.

so looking at my rank i don't think i will get into any nit with a good branch.so my only hope is nit-t with my SR 383.

that is why i am keen on nit-t.but i have filled other choices too.
