IIIT Hyderabad site has not been updated with the latest placement info. The highest placement in NITT was in Google, MTV and a student from IIIT Hyderabad has also received exactly the same :). I guess this will be updated soon. Does that make you happy?

If you want to compare closing ranks, compare the 35th seat rank in CSE in all these institutes and see where IIIT stands.
the placement of 125000 dollar is not of 2010-2011 for trichy their site is always one year lagging and this nail your lies as well.
second no only 3 students are selected from india and 2 are from iits and one is from nit trichy, dont act like shameless ranter first their site is 1 year lagging and second highest placement of iiit hyd is 115000 dollar in 2011 and their statss are complete.

and second nit calicut mech average is more than iiit hyd ece that too when 81 student are placed in comparison to only 20-25 by iiit hyd ec.

it says their has been only 1 international placement that too by facebook at 115000 dollar which is 10000dollar less than nit trichy highest from ECE branch.

FYI, this year also, an NITT CSE student got an offer of that value from Google MoutainView. I guess that should be the highest this year. I thought you were talking of that.

The placement stats have been updated. The 2010 placements have also been updated with the 4th international placement, which was not there earlier.

yes i know that in domestic circuit IIIT HYD students again are bit shy of NIT students its nothing new , even the 2007 batch of NITT have highest domestic of 23lacs here is the detail.

WARANGAL: Ninety five per cent of the students of National Institute of Technology (NIT) got placements during the year 2010-2011 with an average salary of Rs. 5.80 lakh per annum and highest salary offered was Rs. 22 lakh per annum. NIT Placement Officer S. Srinivasa Rao said a total of 225 organisations visited the campus and offered 805 jobs to its students. Among them 501 for B.Tech students and 304 are PG students. you are lying mr nadeem just before the NITT website is updated the stats for 2007 would have showed you that in 2007 nitt domestic highest was 23lacs and foreign placement 44 lacs that was now updated.
Second thing international placements are" shown in dollar" and not in rupees and i guess you are familiar with this as it looks like you are from IIIT hyd and college student knew this, the highest placement of NITW is 22lacs domestic and average of 6lacs which is highest among all the NITS and considering branches such as biotech,civil,chem its just awesome to have over 800 placements with average of 6lacs.

this was the excerpt from a different site who have copied the stats from NITT original site which was before this 125000 dollar placement in 2009-2010.
Maybe in IIIT HYD highest domestic will be around 20 lacs but in top 2-3 NITS its always over 20lacs.
overall both colleges are great, in my honest opinion IIIT HYD cse is damn gud but its ece cannot be compared with top 3-4 NITS.
MNNIT ALLAHBAD have 5 placements in amzon with 15lacs which is amazing and from its closing and opeing ranks its clear too about its prestige their are many NITS who get very gud placements not only in govt but pvt as well and many go for IIMS, UPSC ,foreign univ for further studies etc.

I was shocked to see this fake placement news by TOI which again proves the point that how PVT college gives money to Papers. First of all 85000 dollar highest at BITS PILANi is nowhere near NIT-T,IIIT HYD in international placements and second thing instead of writting one international placements and rest are domestic they have blasted the news that 8 students for 85000 dollar.
Second highest of 12.8lacs in India by the so called great BITS-P should be an eye opener , MNNIT allahbad 5 students selected with 15lacs by amazon , trichy highest stands well over 20lacs and same for NITW whose domestic high is 22lacs and also for IIIT HYD .
@ANY ASPIRANT these are the facts which you must consider and not the rants because check out the popular college survey by India today, bits pilani have got more votes than any other college they have got 90k votes whereas not a single IIT got more than 500 votes~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

first its 130000 dollar, the highest of trichy is that of 2009-2010 and their highest last year was 125000 dollar this year their highest being 140000dollar .
further the highest of iiit hyd domestic is less than nit w , nit w domestic highest is 22 lacs and average 6 lacs for over 800 students placed.

iis their any other college in india apart from old IITS which has more package than 125000 dollar of NIT TRICHY.

just look at this nit trichy 32 seats for all india general seats filled at 2700AIR whereas iiit hyd ece 25 seats filled till 4300AIR.
even mnnnit allahbad 38 seats for AI gen filled at 4800AIR which is better than iiit hyd.
further iiit hyd students boast of average package, NITC mechanical aveg is 8.4lacs for 81 students(100% placements all 81 placed)
