agree with prattek. its best college one gets through RPET. it stands third in rajasthan (1st is BITS pilani and 2nd is MNIT jaipur).

see mbm jodhpur is not that good as nits bits but after these colleges it is best college available in rajasthan last year it close with rank under 2000 in rpet

20-30 year ago mbm has very nice reputation it is established even before some iits it is also in consideration of giving nit status but it is given to mnit jaipur .I have three friends studying over there they said that their professors told that in past years its reputation is decreased due to non intreset of administration of college in improving its infrastructure but due to its earlier reputation many companies visit the campus because college has many bright student of rajasthan board who do not want to drop and also some students who has not make to nits so work hard in college so if you do well in this college you have chance to be noticed and after nits it is a good college to start your carrer

talking about its placement see highest package can nOT be decided if you work good in college not only by maintaing cgpa by doing good projects but also by improving good communication skills and personality you can get a handsome package but i can give you its package given to a normal SERIOUS student it does not given to everyone but to student who is atleast serious about his carrer and do okey okey performance if you perform low in college than you have got very low package or almost nilCIVIL -4.5LAKHS MECHANICAL-4.5-5.5LAKHSMINING-5.2LAKHSCOMPUTER SCIENCE AND IT HAS LOW PLACEMENTS THIS YEAR DUE TO RECESSION SO I AM NOT ABLE TO GIVE YOU ITS DATA

HII FRIEND its good college.. placements is also good..but placement wise best college in rajasthan is SKIT,JAIPUR
