wanted to ask if we can change streams in bit mesra based on our 1st yr performance.. eg: i think i

wanted to ask if we can change streams in bit mesra based on our 1st yr performance.. eg: i think i will be getting IT so can i change to CS after a yr?

not sure if that provision is there at BIT Mesra.even if it is there,it's not as easy as it appears to be.u need to have a cgpa of around 9-9.4 to change ur branch to CS.

yeah there is provision for changin branch at end of 1st yr.............

one more thing.you should always be prepared to study whatever u r getting there.go there with an open mind.don't take admission just for the sake of changing the branch.

i am prepared to study IT. In fact, the only 2 branches i really have an interest in is CS and IT so though i am going to try hard, i will be happy either way. Just wanted to know if there's some scope for the change.. thanx
