 i felt like it should oscillate.but there was no such option. but then as the options given i chose the option : it would come to rest making angle o degrees with the vertical.coz the dipole would try to align itself along the diresction of the field.

it would rotate by an angle  in anti clocwise direction because negative plate would attract it its upper (positive ) portion. I am dead sure of the answer.

in option b it was given thatn it'd rotate by an angle 180- in clockwise dirction. I suppose i am right... ek to paper bhi ghar return nahi kiya... how can we evaluate??????
