Vijaya Bank,started in the year 1931 has grown steadily through the years.With its headquarters in the state of Karnataka,Vijaya Bank has around 1110 branches spread across 28 states & 4 Union territories in India.The bank is opening new branches to meet the demands of the changing world & employs 12000 as of date.Vijaya Bank has announced the Recruitment of 500 Probationary Clerks.

Dates : Online Registration starts on 10.09.2009
Online Registration closes on 01.10.2009
Last date for receipt of Print Out of On-line Application - 8.10.2009
Date of Written Examination - 20.12.2009 (December 20th 2009)
Eligibility : * Candidates should be within age of 18yrs - 28yrs(as on 01.07.2009)
* Should have passed with minimum 50% marks in Higher Secondary Examination / 10+2
OR
* Degree in any discipline from a recognized University(First class or Second class)
* Knowledge of official language of the state is necessary.
* Basic knowledge of working on computers is also required.
Note: Final yr students/Candidates waiting for results/degree certificates cannot apply,since marksheets & degree certificate has to be sent along with application before Oct 8th 2009.
Selection: The selection process for recruitment of Probationary Clerks in Vijaya bank will have Written Test(Objective & Descriptive) & Interview.The candidates ranking higher in the written test will be called for Interview in the ratio of 1:3.
Application Procedure: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs.350(General/OBC) & Rs.50(SC/ST) by Demand Draft/Pay Order favouring "VIJAYA BANK RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2009 (PROBATIONARY CLERKS)" Payable at MUMBAI only before October 9th 2009.
Candidates must apply online through Vijaya Bank website only & provide the DD details.After online registration,the printout of the application must be taken & has to be sent to the mentioned address ON OR BEFORE 08.10.2009 by Ordinary Post.
