 complete image will form but intensity will be less ie.it will be dimmer. ...........light rays emerge in all possible directions from the source .when u block half of the rays the remaining half will form image.hope u understood

Light rays from the top half of the object could strike the bottom part of the convex lens and still form the image. Of course, intensity and brightness of the image will be reduced as explained by Sheenu.
