R.I. of the medium is  equal to speed of the light in vacuum /speed of light in medium

                                =3*10^8/1.8*10^8=1.6

                              =3*10^8/2.4*10^8=1.25

              hence

critical angle when light passing through  to

                                                  sin  *=
