it is the addition of sodium bisulphite to a ketone (however in above question u have replaced the one H in sodium bisulphite by methyl group)
IT IS AN TYPICAL EXAMPLE OF NUECLOPHILIC ADDITION REACTION OF ALDEHYDES AND KETONE

It means methyl group. similarly Et means ethyl group.
