When in a compound, more than one COOH groups are present, a way to prepare anhydrides is heating the compound strongly.

On heating, decarboxylation takes place from the Alpha-C. Now as you can clearly see, decarboxylation from alpha-C in this compound will form acetic acid.
So no anhydride.

The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.

It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light.
