1))  Which would evolve CO2 more easily with NaHCO3 :
HCOOH  or  C6 H5 COOH. WHY??
2))  OUT of C6 H5 COOH and CH3 COOH which is more soluble in water ?? why?
3))  what is the product when siLver iso-butyrate is treated with Br2 in CCl4
PLZ GIVE THE FRMULA OF SILVER ISO-BUTYRATE.
 
4)) A HALO-ALKANE WITH Aq. HOH GIVES ALCOHOL BUT WITH ALC. KOH GIVES ALKENE. WHY?

1) HCOOH....more acidic the compound....faster is the reaction...
2) CH3COOH ....because phenyl grp is hydrophobic(CH3COOH is soluble in cold water too! but the other is not)
