Bromomethane to propanone.
1. Hydrolyse to get methanol.
2. Heat with copper, methanal is formed.
3. Add methyl magnesium bromide in acidic medium, ethanol is formed
4. Heat with copper again , ethanal is formed
5. Add methyl magnesium bromide again , 2 propanol is formed
6. Heat with copper again , propanone is formed.

bromomethane to propanone
first react bromomethane with HCCNa
now with Pd +BaSO4
now with H20+H+
now with Cu at 573
