(CH3)2C=C-CH=CH-CH3 should be the product. Phosphoric acid is used as dehydrating agent , so it will dehydrate the alcohol to give the corresponding alkene (in this case a diene) following the same mechanism as for dehydration of alcohol. In the first step OH is protonated followed by loss of water to form the carbocation. The carbocation the loses proton from the adjacent carbon to form the C=C.
