yes i feel
first convert cyclohexane to benzene using SeO and then use HNO2 AT 0 C AND THEN USE KOH PHENOL IS FROMED .experts please verify

actualy in benzene
we wud have to do diazotization using hno2
then hydrolysis

I don't think it is possible. But its reverse is possible.

Cyclohexane when heated at 600⁰C in presence of Al₂O₃-Cr₂O₃ gives benzene.Then you can prepare phenol by any method either cumene process or convert benzene to benzene sulphonic acid,then to sodium benzene sulphonate and then fuse it with solid NaOH at 325⁰C to get sodium phenate.Then treat it with dilute HCl to get phenol.

shakir is absolutely right...... after converting cyclohexane to benzene, do diazotisation n then hydrolysis, phenol will be formed

first convert cyclohexane into benzene by catalytic dehydrogenation in the presence of oxides of D block for ex V2O5,Cr2O3 ETC.AFTER THIS THERE R MANY METHOD LIKE OXIDATION BY FENTONS REAGENT OR BENZENE TO CHOLOROBENZENE THEN FUSE KOH,benzene to benzenesulphonicacid then 2 mole KOH.
