strength of acid is dependant on the ease of realising hydrogen atoms then why we find the following order HF > HCl > HBr > HI

it should be in the reverse order because F is the most electronegative so it doesn't lose H easily so it should be the weakest acid

I dont get you. HI is a very strong acid and obviously its HI > HCl > HBr > HF

HF least also bcos of H bonding

HI is the strongest acid 'cos i being the biggest of these halogens, bond length is maximum in case of hi and so low bond dissociation energy and so the trend

yup - HI is d strongest & HF is d weakest among them - ur ques was wrong
