Can some1 give me the reason too ? it seems ans is (C), which i m not very sure of !

it cud be because NH4+ doesnt have any empty orbital.

an electropile ca accept lone pair of e-
in NH4+, N cannot accept  lone pair hence its not an electrophile

yaar look when it comes to the electrophile it is that , deficient of e-  now the positive charge is because when H+ attacks the lone pair of nitrogen and it gets to form 4 bonds.

yup its NH4+ .ts not that N is deficient of e- but has used its e to accept a H+. so it can regain its e- by releasing a H+.but the others r diff.BCl3 is a lewis acid.Hg2+ is stable in this config.CH3+ cannot accept e- due non availability of d orbitals in C.
