hai,when ur basics are good, you need not remember any reaction sequence at all yaar so cocentrate on the basics......

when acetylene is passed over red hot iron at rather hiht temprature ..it polymerises into benzene....OC isnt all abt remembering...its abt uning the right reagents at the right step

By passing vapours of acetylene over iron in red hot tube benzene is obtained.

There is not short cut for remembering conversions. Fundamentals should be clear. Study the reactions from each topic properly. Attempt questions on them to verify whether you have really understood them properly or not. Attempt conversion questions from any standard book. Practice a lot, and then you will not find the conversions difficult but will enjoy such questions.
