1) Compound should be planar, i.e. all C atoms should be sp2

2) Alternate double bonds should be present

3) There should be 4n + 2 pi electrons. This is also known as huckel's rule.

ummmm
to check for aromatic compounds just see if they have 4n+2 electrons where n=1,2,3.....
also see if the electrons are delocalised..
and the zwitter ion is NH3(positive)-benzene-s03h(negative)
the negative and positive are the charges...

Definition of zwitter ion is incorrect. Any covalent species with a charge spearation is a zwitter ion. Although the example given is correct, there can be numerous other examples, the most common being alpha amino acids. which has NH3+ and COO- attached to the same carbon. Check wikipedia for more info
