hii
In the first glance most people wil reject organic chem as something very much illogical and a subject which u just need to cram .. however tat is not the case, it is indeed a logical subject ..
my teacher , arun kulshreshta .. taught me in very logical way and there are patterns ..
u need to understand the basics, then slowly build on .. do not forget tat more u learn n read the various reaction more quickly can u do stuff ..
gud luck
cheers

All other chaps are also imp. but the above 2 shud be given max priority and time.
Practice as much problems as U can. Organic chem can be strengthened by solving a lot of problems.
U must know all the mechanisms.
And the most important factor - Good books.
I wud prefer L.G. Wade and Peter Sykes.
Also try to remain away from Arihant. It has a lot of misprints and wrong info.
And lastly, try to use goiit in the best possible way. Ask ur doubts and check out old doubts/questions asked in the forum. Try to solve them on ur own.
All the best. :)
