its very simple.......just make some hints like OH MY SUCH GOOD APPLE denotes the all carboxilic acid types. in this way u make some hints and memorize thiem .

Memorizing organic reactions is difficult. Understand the reactions and then practice a lot. begin with NCERT books, study carefully each reaction with mechanism if necessary and then try to work out with similar compounds.

www.cmu.edu has virtual text book of organic chemistry along with practice problems which you can try.
