Hi joyfrancis q1)HCN and HNC are functional isomers (due to presence of ambident grp cn) q2)There are two FUNCTIONAL ISOMERS OF CH3COOH namely- 1)HCOOCH3 (methyl formate) 2)CHOCH2OH (2-hydroxy ethanal) PLS RATE ME IF IM CORRECT!

The answer to the first question that you gave is wrong.
They are not functional isomers but metamers.
