The formula of urotropine is (CH2)6N4.Like other aldehydes formaldehyde does form an addition product but a crystalline compound hexamethylenetetramine.The reaction is
6HCHO+4NH  (CH2)6N4+6H2O .It's structure is difficult to draw,refer any organic book.

2) molar mass of gas = 22.4 / 1.4 = 16
so R has molar mass = 16 -1 = 15
CH3 has molar mass CH3
so R = - CH3
