ya , its wrong . i'm sure. u don't have to follow mistakes even in the NCERT when u r sure its a printing mistake .
There are other mistakes also . see for example Pg 364 , in the first reaction given in the page, the second product of the self aldol condensation is not correctly branched.
In Pg 373 , the name given is 4-Methoxy benzoic acid but the structure of benzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid is given . ( Infact I was wondering why its pKa value is more for a long time , until I realised that the structure drawn is not correct)

in chem vol. 2 pg 431, notice the structure of dacron. Theres an oxygen missing between c2 nd c3. Unfortunately, this is the only place in the book where this structure is given. So do we consider the ncert as our bible in d exam nd write the wrong structure or do we use common sense? Pl. Comment!
