hi guys i am harry
I have bought R.T.Morrison and R.N.Boyd for organic chemistry , but i am not able to follow it. beacuse the order and context of lessons in it is not like other books like O.P.Tandon for eg. u don't have a separate chapter called Reaction mechanism in morrison and boyd. someone help me out how 2 follow this book

Hi Harry
U just go to the last of contents. At the bottommost, u'll find something called "INDEX" U REFER THOSE PAGES FOR THE TOPIC U WANT. U'LL SURELY FIND OUT this applies for morrison and solomon

Harry,
as far as theory is concerned, I am following solomon and to solve probs, I prefer Arihant and Tandon.....
If my theory is not at all clear, then I go to the index part and search in Morrison.
Yet, I am facing problem in my application part and I have searched for someone to help me (tejasvi2389) but I dont know when she will be online...
Did my previous post help u?
If u r satisfied, do give me ur vote dude!

Peter Atkins and Julio de paula    is actually a good book but there r not many ppl who follow it....it is said that it is just like morrison,(i mean, deviating from IIT syllabus)There is no wrong in following it, but for IIT i think arihant is good and u can follow Bahadur for sums as well...

hi harry morrison is very nice book if u read whole text u got mad so read it acc. to the sections given for eg. in alkanes there is table after some pages from starting page of chap. in that every react. is given after that sec to be preferd is also given so read taht sec. only its a nice book u sould first read and  analyse
& then make notes in a very short manner so that it will carry a point space in ur mind             well solomon is same as morri. for numericals prefer P.BAHADUR
have a nice day!.......
