i am confused about which book to follow for organic chemistry

morrison or solomons is recommended but the fact is it requries a lot of time in doin it plus u don't learn many problem solving stratergies

books by schaum series are also good

but which one to follow

there are 2 buks under it

3000 solved probs in organic chem

and

schaum's outlines(3rd edition)

plz help me sort out this confusion

See as far as I know I dun think that Morisson and Boyd
should be followed by anyone but since its recommended by
many so its good.

But I feel that "MTG - interactive organic Chemistry" is
the best book for doing organic and I am using this book
from a long time and has helped me find way thru many
tough problems.

I personally would like to add that please dun do Morisson
and Boyd.

Don't buy Interactive Organic Chemistry (no offence meant,waterdemon) coz it is a highly unsystematic book. According to me, Solomons and Fryhle is the best. It explains almost everything in a very systematic and more importantly, student-friendly manner. U will be able to understand the underlying working of organic chemistry. And there are many high quality problems. But there is just one fault - The answers to many of these are not given.

ITS NOT NECESSARY THAT U SHUD FOLLOW JUST ONE BOOK , NOT ALL CHAPTERS ARE DEALT IN A STUDENT FRIENDLY MANNER IN THE BIG GUNS LIKE MORRISON ETC. PREFER A COMBINATION OF THE BUKS U DON HAV 2 BUY THEM IF THERE R LIBRARIES . THERE IS NO ONE GOD 2 EVERYTHING BETTER TAKE OUT THE CONCEPT OF ONE GOD BOOK . FOLLOW AT LEAST 3-4
DIFFERENT PEOPLE ARE SUITED DIFFERENTLY THE TOPPERS STRATEGY MAY NOT APPLY 2 U . CHOOSE UR OWN STRATEGY
