optical isomerism
Engineering Entrance , Medical Entrance , AIPMT , JEE Main , AIIMS , JEE Advanced , Chemistry , Organic Chemistry

in the 2^n formula for the number of isomers.. does this 2^n includes all sterioisomers or does it include only the optical isomers..??

The formula includes all the stereoisomers.

all isomers .....but the formula will be applicable when meso - type is not possible
