MCPBA is meta Chloroperoxybenzoic acid
extract from http://www.organic-chemistry.org/frames.htm?http://www.organic-chemistry.org/related/info.php?q=baeyer-villiger+oxidation

"MCPBA is a strong oxidizing agent, which is comparable with other peracids. Advantages of 3-chloroperbenzoic acid is its handling, because it is present as powder, which can be kept in the refrigerator."

As for ur question i believe A is ethanal (ox of ethene) and B is propan-2-ol (Grignard reaction)

am i correct

MCPBA= m-chloroperoxybenzoic acid.
Alkenes on reaction with per acids formepoxides.
Ethene on reaction with MCPBA will first give ethylene oxide (A), which on further reaction with methyl magnesium iodide followed by hydrolysis will give n-propyl alcohol.
