Remember Cedric. Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory.

To find the salt mixture as soon as u get it color salts
Copper sulphate + Ammonium Chloride ------> Blue Colour
Copper Chloride + Calcium Carbonate -------> Green colour
Ferric Chloride + Magnesium Sulphate -------> Brown Color
white salts
Add dil.HCl to the salt and NOT salt solution
Lead Nitrate + Ammonium Carbonate --------> Brisk effervesence
Barium Chloride + Zinc sulphide ---------> Rotten egg smell

as in volu analysis in chem, only and only basic things hav 2 b kept in mind like m1v1/n1 = m2v2/n2 & the basic definition of molarity, strength etc........ as far as salt analysis is concerned, remember that sequence is of grrr8 importance in it.........vaise I hav mentioned earlier also that majority of the studs do not detect the radicals correctly.....so that isn't a prob...... but neway BEST OF lUCK!!!!!

hey if u have an excellent rappo with the labassistant go straight to him. in chem choose a salt which looks fluffy (like a talcum powder ), it will surely come out to be carbonate. then do flame test(in schools generally with carbonates it is grp5 carbonates) or magnesium carbonate. talk beforehand wid d the lab assis to tell u the reading for viva study d projet an salt analysis well following were d questions that i was asked 1)colour of tollens reagent(colourless) 2)chelating complex of fehlings soln(tartaric acid chelating wid copper) 3)wt r d acid radical in which gives efervescence eith acis( carbonate and sulphite) dont get nervous and everything will turn out fine cheers!!!!!!!!
