Br will be replaced by CN.3-cyano nitro benzene will be formed. correct me if m wrong. but i think this is what wil happen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this reaction is called von richter reaction..... when halo-nitrobenzene is reacted with KCN at 420 C..... the nitro group leaves and the cyano group occupies the position ortho to nitro group....... so the product is 1-cyano-2-bromo-benzene .... here is the named reaction..... von Richter Reaction.
