i think it is a linear H-F-F(-ve) or a H-F(-ve)=F i mean a double bond with central F having -ve charge

i think F should be central atom so it goes like this: H-F=F nd formal charge on central F

Actually it has a 4-electron 3 centre bonding unit. But i'm unable to make it and there are supposed to be 3 resonance structures for it. So, plz try and help me if u know abt it.

HF2- has a structure of F-H-F with negative charge on one floride and H-H bond with other. It is a 3 center 4 electron bond. And in terms of bond order you can say that there are two HF bonds of bond order half

see the resonating structures. there are two H-F bonds of bond order 1/2.
