These are my doubts.......plz solve them asap :
 
1.chloroform n iodoform differ in their rection with _____ ?
2. how is chloroform tested using agno3 ?
3.alcohols n ethers are not always isomeric.Give Reason
4.Which alcohol gives acetone n formic acid on oxidation?
5.which compound gives white fumes with NH3 ?
6.aldehydes n ketones can be differentiated by clemmenson ?? how ?
7.RCOONa and Sodalime rection ?
8.how to get ester frm inorganic acid n alcohol ?
9.which is better for acetylation acetic anhydride or acid chloride and why ?

For last few answers read through the chapters in Chem NCERT or any side book the BIO MOLECULES chapter

1) for chloroform, U use Cl2,NaOH; For iodoform, U use I2,NaOH

3) CH3 OH has no other isomer.....

4) isobutene...but i think that the formic acid so formed will be decomposed to CO2 and H2O

8) its the clasien condensation using inorganic acids like H2CO3 , dimethyl carbonate...etc...

10) i think its the bayer villiger test for alcohols...i don't remember it exactly...

11) i think that primary and secondry amines may leave an H in presence of RMgBr to give RH...

16) i think its given in ncert that polypeptides with very large molecular masses are proteins...
