But we can conclude that CH2 is heavy too....? CH2 may be bulky too to react in the reaction. And how to know that bcz of bulkiness it will not react.

in option c there is still one H available. It is easier to remove....Hindrance will be max in D

But the whole compound '2X' is attaching itself to product side. So there shouldn't be any point of hindrance in it coz compound is not dissociating itself.
