1. Aromaticity is any any cyclic, planar species with (4n+2) electrons

how is this rule applicable to

cyclopropenyl cation and cyclopentadienyl anion

i mean cyclopropene has 2pi electrons which wil satisfy the aromaticity but in  cyclopropenyl cation wat wld b the role of the charge and how does it satisfy d aromaticity

and also in cyclopentadienyl anion wats d role of negative charge

2.The use of iso and related common prefixes for naming alkyl groups is allowed in IUPAC (NCERT says)

 CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH3

                              |

                   CH3-C-CH3

                            |

                          CH

it is named as 5-(2,2 Dimethyl propyl)nonane ..why is the name 5-neopentyl nonane not accepted?

3. is iso propyl the right way to write? because it is nothing but n-propyl

1)it is not "any cyclic" there should be cyclic conjucation. if there is a +ve charge then that vacant orbital is used for the conjucation...and n=0. and the anion will be non aromatic or anti aromatic...i actually forgot the name...if the ring is without charge then there is no way of transison....

simple rule to check whether ring is aromatic or not

1)ring should be conjucated(delocalsation of pie bond)

2)planar ring(each c should be sp^2 hybridised

now come to your question in case of cyclopropenyl cation conjucation occur only due to pie bond hence cation plays no role we take it as imaginary  and find aromaticity now it obey aromaticity when you put n=0;

in case 2: both pie bond and neg charge use for conjucation so we count neg charge as pie bond so now it follow aromaticity rule wen you put n=1

iso: when 2 degree "c" attatched to one methyl gp it is iso

neo:when 2 degree "c" attatched to two methyl gp it is neo

rate for sure

it is simply n-propyl don't get to much confuse with it

an iso gp starts frm 4 carbons ie is said isobutyl
