1. Aromaticity is any any cyclic, planar species with (4n+2)
electrons
how is this rule applicable to
cyclopropenyl cation and cyclopentadienyl anion
i mean cyclopropene has 2pi electrons which wil satisfy the aromaticity but in cyclopropenyl cation wat wld b the role of the charge and how does it satisfy d aromaticity
and also in cyclopentadienyl anion wats d role of negative charge
2.The use of iso and related common prefixes for naming alkyl groups is allowed in IUPAC (NCERT says)
CH3-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH3
|
CH3-C-CH3
|
CH3
it is named as 5-(2,2 Dimethyl propyl)nonane ..why is the name 5-neopentyl nonane not accepted?
3. is iso propyl the right way to write? because it is nothing but n-propyl
