what is hyperconjugation how do we explain the stability of compound{radicals,carbocations,etc.,}

when alkyl groups are attached to a carbocation they some what decrease the positive charge on the carbocation this happens because the sp3 orbitals of the C-H bond can overlap with the empty p-orbital of the positive carbon and hence increasing the electron density there this phenomenon is called hyperconjugation hence more the no. of alkyl groups attached to the +ve carbon more the hyper conjugation and more the stability plz rate
