ORGANIC CHEMISTRY FOR IITJEE

By Dr. Jagdamba Singh is what u need for IITJEE.....the best one

though Arihant is also good.

First thing stick to JEE portion and do go through NCERT!Arihant is good as it provides much practice.For concepts of particular reaction mechanism,refer BOYD MORRISON(/Solomon/Carey).But please be thorough wid NCERT text.Do not leave the smaller topics like polymer,biochemistry etc.Do these small topics with utmost care(esp from NCERT).You can check out for yourself that 2 or 3 questions in last year's JEE were uplifted from NCERT.It may be that they are present in other books,but the common thing is NCERT.And please have complete command over IUPAC naming(esp the order of functional group priority)and reaction mechanism .JEE will test your concepts and not complicated hi-fi topics.Stick to basic concepts! and ALL THE BEST!

jagadamba is a good book for reference but it contains excess of useless matter which is not there for iit first thoroughly know the portion and start all the best

hieee! i prefer O.P.TONDON... n SAMUEL.tondon is gud 4 gettin concept< theoretical part> . .. n samuel is 4 practisin.....1mor ting samuel is a bookk vich iz highly hard to understand... i vaz satisfied vid boooooth f dem.... try it!!!!

organic chemistry of Dr.O.P. Tandon is the best book for organicSolomons Fryhle is considered as one of the best book for organic

For JEE, I guess Arihant is the best.

But for Organic Chem in general, nothing beats Morrison Boyd

u start with ncert basic book.

i think boyd is best but it is vast try firstly MTG or GRB publication
