i think its the 2nd one that will b faster.

Its basically β elimination.

by markonikoff rule, the middle Hs will b preferably removed...

in 1st case, this is difficult, as the middle β carbon is sp2 hybridized.

1st one will have two possible carbocations as resonance occurs in the allylic substrate. This will slow down the reaction as thermodynamically, the resonance product is favoured.

 

The second one does not have such complications, so it occurs quickly.
